Hanif is currently the CEO of Symend, a leading customer engagement solution company that uses behavioral science and artificial intelligence to nudge customers to take action, such as pay their bills, renew their services, and buy more product and services. With over seven years of experience in building and scaling Symend, he has partnered with global telecommunication and financial services firms and ranked on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists. As a visionary entrepreneur and an expert in behavioral engagement technology, Hanif is passionate about creating better customer experiences and improving financial wellness.

Hanif has been recognized as EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 Prairie Region and Avenue Calgary's Top 40 Under 40. He is also a member of the Business Council of Canada, a board member of the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund and the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, and an active mentor and angel investor for the Canadian technology ecosystem. He received his MBA in Finance, Investment banking from the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management, and his BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
