With almost 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, Chris Thibodeau is a seasoned executive at the forefront of digital mapping innovation and automotive technology advancement.

Thibodeau most recently served as President & CEO of Dynamic Map Platform North America (formerly Ushr Inc.,) a leading high-definition mapping company enabling advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. Originally spun out of GeoDigital International, an EnerTech portfolio company, Ushr was acquired in 2019 by Dynamic Map Platform Co., Ltd. (DMP) of Japan.

Prior to this role, Chris served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Autonomous Driving, where he established Ushr’s market position, and led all aspects of product innovation and program execution. With over 30 years of automotive experience and 5 U.S. patents, Chris ensures Ushr’s product portfolio is dedicated to ensuring product safety and the highest product performance.

Throughout his career, Chris held various product development leadership positions developing and executing electrical products in the areas of Infotainment, Telematics, Active Safety, Chassis and Body Electronics. Prior to Ushr, Chris was Vice President and General Manager of Infotainment for the Americas at Harman International. Before Harman, Thibodeau held leadership roles at General Motors (Director Product Development - Global Electrical Systems), Ford Motor Company (Manager- Global User Interface, Connectivity, Strategy and Planning), and at Visteon (Associate Director, Discovery Product Segment - Product Development).
