EnerTech Capital Adds Senior Investment Funds Executive Edward Jackson to their Advisory Board

May 27, 2016, Toronto, Ontario – EnerTech Capital is pleased to announce today that Senior Investment Funds Executive, Edward Jackson, has joined the EnerTech Advisory Board.

Prior to retiring on December 31, 2015, Ed was Managing Director & Co-Head Investment Funds, RBC Capital Markets. Ed is a well-respected industry leader with 30 years experience providing senior coverage to key RBC clients in Investment Banking, National Accounts and Real Estate Lending. Ed has a deep understanding and extensive contacts with C-suite level professionals in the Investment Funds Industry in Canada and the USA founded on a track record of success spanning 650 public market transactions, raising over C$57 billion and US$7 billion (1998-2015).  In 2014, he led the largest closed-end fund initial public offering in Canada in a decade raising C$690 million for PIMCO Canada. 


Ed has worked with a series of Fund relationships over the years including; Ontario Teachers Pension Plan, Canada Pension Plan Board, OMERS, OPSEU, CI Funds, AGF, Mackenzie, Invesco, PIMCO, Nuveen, Legg Mason, Oppenheimer, Federated, Natixis, Aberdeen and Brookfield Investment Management.  Ed also acted as President & CEO and Trustee of Advantage Preferred Share Trust (PFR.UN) a publicly listed closed-end fund on the TSX.


In March 2016, he became a member of the Independent Review Committee of Middlefield Group, a Canadian investment manager with approximately $4.5 billion of assets under management.
