A:

Todd Janke has over 30 years of experience in the automotive and mobility industry, holding a variety of leadership roles throughout his career.

Prior to joining EnerTech, Todd served as Vice President of Innovation and Cost Management at Adient, where he was responsible for developing and launching the company’s cost reduction and Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) program. In this role, he led efforts to generate cost-saving ideas, conduct technical and financial feasibility analyses, and develop execution plans to improve overall profitability. He also drove Adient’s innovation process with a focus on industrializing innovation initiatives and bringing new concepts into scalable implementation.

Before Adient, Todd spent five years at Flex, a Singapore-based manufacturing company that delivers technology innovation, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions across multiple industries, including mobility. During his time at Flex, he held several leadership roles including Senior Director of Autonomous Driving Strategy, Senior Director of Product Strategy, and Director of Engineering.

Earlier in his career, Todd spent more than 20 years with TRW Automotive, where he worked in engineering and established the company’s global VAVE organization. This organization focused on identifying cost reduction opportunities, evaluating financial and technical feasibility, and launching improvement projects in collaboration with operations teams worldwide.

Todd earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University in Indiana, and later completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University South Bend.
