EnerTech Capital Adds Senior Electric Power Industry Executive Michael Walker to their Advisory Board

June 18th, 2018, Philadelphia PA and Toronto, Ontario – EnerTech Capital is pleased to announce today that Senior Power Industry Executive, Michael Walker, has joined the EnerTech Advisory Board.

Michael has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry working with a wide variety of publicly and privately held companies. He currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Enterprise Risk and Strategic Development Officer for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), a non-profit corporation responsible for establishing and enforcing mandatory reliability standards for the bulk power system in North America, as well as conducting bulk power system assessments and operating the U.S. Department of Energy endorsed electricity sector cyber and physical security information sharing and analysis center (E-ISAC). He previously served as NERC’s Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and Treasurer and played a lead role in the negotiation and structuring of the E-ISAC’s Cyber Risk Information Sharing Program.  Prior to joining NERC, Mr. Walker was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at National Grid USA where he was lead in house counsel on the $2.9B Ravenswood generating station divestiture. Prior to joining National Grid, he held senior positions at KeySpan Corporation, including Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of KeySpan Corporation and Senior Vice President and General Counsel of KeySpan’s competitive energy services business segment.
