Wally
Hunter, Managing Director:
Wally has been investing in energy and clean energy companies and projects for 15 years. Wally runs EnerTech's Canadian operations from Toronto. His specific areas of interest and responsibility include opportunities in alternative fuels and storage, power quality and conversion, water re-use in energy, Wind turbine technologies, power electronics, advanced materials, motor controls, automation and sensors.
Prior to EnerTech, Wally was with Royal Bank of Canada ("RBC"), where he was a Managing Director of the bank's private equity fund and responsible for the Energy Technology and Advanced Technology Fund. Prior to that Wally was in RBC's investment banking division (RBC Capital Markets). Wally has an extensive background in the venture capital business which includes a series of successful IPO’s, M&A and turnaround transactions throughout his 20 year career in the finance business.
In addition, Wally previously produced and hosted the weekly financial television show "Money Week" which featured over 200 guest interviews from Canadian and U.S. money managers over a 14 year period. Wally was also previously involved in politics and sat as a local Councilor in the town of Milton (3 terms) and on the board of the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Chair of finance).
Wally is currently Chairman of the Banff Venture Forum Cleantech Stream and sits on the board of the Venture Capital Association of Alberta (VCCA). Wally currently sits on the boards of Enbala Power Networks, FilterBoxx and N-Dimension Solutions and managed our successful exit from Catch the Wind (a wind lidar technology).
Wally received a BA from the University of Western Ontario and has completed a number of securities-related courses and programs including the Canadian Securities Institute (CSC program) and Canadian Investment Finance (CIF I, II &III).

Bill
Kingsley, Managing Director:
Bill has
been investing in energy and clean energy companies
and projects for 10 years. Bill is a key architect of
EnerTech’s smart grid, demand response, energy
storage, water and solar strategies.
Prior to joining EnerTech, Bill worked in the high growth segments of the communications industry. While with Comcast Corporation, Bill was a key member of the team responsible for the IPO and eventual sale of Teleport, was part of the founding team of Sprint PCS and lead the company's efforts to provide services to the electric utility industry. Earlier in his career, Bill was with GTE Mobile Communications as a Director of New Business Development. He started his career at Contel Corporation serving in a variety of engineering, marketing, financial and management positions.
Bill currently sits
on the boards of CalStar Products, INVIDI Technologies,
IOSIL Energy, and PCN Technology and is an observer
to the boards of Atraverda, CURRENT Group and Serious
Energy. Previously he was a director of Arbinet (ARBX)
and Advent Solar. He is a member of the IBF Clean Technology
Investor Summit Advisory Board.
Bill received a BS in Business Administration from Lynchburg College and an MA in telecommunications from George Washington University.

Tucker
Twitmyer, Managing Director:
Tucker has been investing in energy technology and services companies for 13 years with an emphasis on technology enabled efficiency, development, services, and products companies across the electricity, oil, and gas industries.
Tucker currently sits on the boards of SpaceTime Insight, OwnEnergy and Tangent Energy Solutions. He previously sat on the boards of Enerwise (acquired), FuelQuest (acquired), Advent Solar (acquired), Franklin Fuel Cells (acquired), Welldog (acquired) and was an observer to Comverge (COMV), Clean Air Power (CAP.L), 6th Dimension (acquired), Sagemaker (acquired) and Altela. He is a board member and former President of Wharton Private Equity Partners, an Investment Partner with InvestMaryland, Chairman of the IMPACT 2012 Cleantech Track, an advisor to the Skolkovo Foundation, a former member of the CleanTech Venture Network Advisory Board, and was recently honored as one of the Power Players in Cleantech and Who’s Who in Energy.
Prior to EnerTech, Tucker was a co-founder and Managing Director of Katalyst LLC, a private equity services firm and a Senior Manager at Andersen Consulting, now Accenture. Tucker began his career in finance and IT operations with MultiServ, a provider of material handling and recycling services to the steel industry.
Tucker received a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Scott
Ungerer, Founder & Managing Director:
Scott has been a visionary and recognized leader in venture capital investing for the traditional and advanced energy sectors for nearly 20 years. He is also one of the few with an extensive and proven investment and management operations history. Currently, Scott specifically looks for opportunities that reduce the cost and/or improve the customer experience related to all aspects of energy supply, delivery and usage. His specific areas of experience, interest and expertise include companies that sell into the following industry sectors: central and distributed power generation; electric transmission; electric, natural gas and/or water distribution; energy management for the customer premise; broadly defined smart grid; and transportation.
Scott has worked with more than 15 early-to-mid stage companies providing both strategic and operational guidance and advice as a board member and investor. He currently sits on the boards of The NanoSteel Company (Chairman), Tangent Energy Solutions and N-Dimension Solutions; and is a board advisor to Enbala Power Networks. Scott managed investments in and formerly sat on the boards of Clean Air Power (L:CAP); CURRENT Group; Catalytic Solutions (L:CTSU)- sold; Enerwise – purchased by Comverge, Intellon (NASDAQ: ITLN)- purchased by Atheros/Qualcom, Comverge (NASDAQ: COMV)- purchased by private equity investor, and CoaLogix (NASDAQ: ACORN) – purchased by private equity investor.
Scott shares his expertise and viewpoints with the core energy/power industry through participation in a select few organizations: board member of the NIST created Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP), and Chairman of the Executive Committee; member (and former Chairman) of the VC Advisory Board for the National Renewable Energy Lab. He is also a former member of the Battelle Energy Advisory Council and of the Cleantech Venture Network Advisory Board.
Prior to EnerTech, Scott spent 16 years in the power industry as an operating executive with Atlantic Energy culminating in his role as one of five senior officers, and as President & COO of the entire set of the company's non-regulated enterprises.
Scott received
a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University; he has also attended several graduate level Business, Strategy and Management courses at Wharton.

Jarett
Carson, Managing Director:
Jarett has been
investing and advising on investments in energy and
clean energy companies and projects for 10 years.
Prior to joining EnerTech,
Jarett was a Partner at Sound Energy Partners, an energy
focused hedge fund group where they launched one of
the first alternative energy hedge fund products. The
Sound Energy Alternatives Fund invested globally, in
public and late-stage-private companies in the alternative
energy sector. Previously, he was Director, Energy Technology
Research, at RBC Capital Markets, which he joined in
2000 to cover the oil and gas industry. In 2001 he launched
RBC's efforts in energy technology research and was
responsible for advising public and private market investment
managers and companies in the sector. Prior to joining
RBC, Jarett worked six years in various engineering
and project management positions in upstream oil and
gas, refining and chemicals - the final four with Chevron.
Jarett received his
BS in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University
and his MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Tulane University.

Dean
Sciorillo, Director:Dean has been investing in energy and clean energy companies and projects for 12 years. Dean joined EnerTech in 2004 and is responsible for sourcing, diligencing and working with EnerTech portfolio companies. Prior to joining EnerTech, Dean spent 15
years with Exelon Corporation most recently in the corporate venture capital group. Prior to that, he was a Business
Planning Manager focusing on the long term strategic and financial planning of the Enterprises Business Unit
and worked closely with the retail energy, telecommunication and utility infrastructure businesses. Earlier in his
career, he held financial positions with several start-up businesses of Exelon including the company's energy
management and consulting practice and onsite energy services business.
Dean received a BS in Finance from LaSalle University and an MBA from the Fox School of Temple University.

Anne-Marie Bourgeois, Vice President, Investments:
Anne-Marie has a strong operational background, with 17 years of experience with energy and clean energy companies. Anne-Marie serves as a member of the venture deal team. She is responsible for enhancing EnerTech Capital’s proprietary deal flow in Quebec, as well as building relationships with local investors and on a global basis. With her capacity to work fluently in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, Anne-Marie builds on EnerTech’s focus to develop companies into international leaders and deliver outstanding returns to investors.
Prior to EnerTech, Anne-Marie has been involved in the early-stage financing of many technology companies with Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), as well as an executive in residence and business development specialist with International Services for Sustainable Development (SIDD).
Anne-Marie received a BS (Hons) in Geology, a BA in Management and a BA in Political Science from the University of Ottawa, as well as a MA in International Management from Université du Québec.

Eric Schmadtke, Vice President, Investments:
Eric is based in Calgary and is responsible for leading EnerTech Capital's activities and building relationships within the province and globally. Eric previously worked as Director, Business Development with Suncor Energy and has had an extensive energy career, including a series of senior positions with Petro-Canada and holds domain experience in Oil and Gas, Renewables and GHG mitigating technologies. Eric has built relationships with numerous large corporations and maintains an impressive international network within the energy space. As a fluent English, French and German speaker, Eric's experience and network builds on EnerTech's focus to develop companies into international leaders..
Eric received an International MBA from the University of Ottawa, as well as a BS in Finance from Bishop's University. He also completed teh Global Energy and Sustainable (GEMS) program at the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business.

Hoon
Chung, Entrepreneur in Residence:
Hoon currently
is a Managing Partner with Golden Phoenix Enterprise
(GPE), orchestrating successful China market entry for
Small/Medium Enterprises with deployable "game changing"
technology solutions in materials science, energy efficiency,
clean energy alternatives, and GHG reduction related
areas.
Prior to founding GPE, Hoon spent 15 years as a supply chain management executive as the President and CEO at
Distribution Service Technologies, General Manager of Automotive division at Activant Solutions, Chief Operating Officer at Adexa, Senior Vice
President of Global SCM Consulting Services at Numetrix.
Hoon brings significant global business development, direct sales & country operations management experience
throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
Prior to leading various technology solutions based companies, Hoon held senior line management positions at a number
of Fortune 500 corporations including Haagen-Dazs Company, Inc., The Lever Brothers Company and The Quaker Oats Company.
Hoon received a BS in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University, and an MBA in Marketing,
Management Policy, and Operations Management from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Dr. Dominic Geraghty, Entrepreneur in Residence:
Dr. Geraghty has more than 25 years of experience in the power industry and has had an extensive career in the power and smart grid arena including serving as the CEO and President of Tantalus Systems Corporation, and as Senior Vice-President of Corporate Development of Catalytica Energy Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CESI), heading up M&A activities. Most recently, he was senior private equity energy investment consultant at GFI Energy Group, Oaktree Capital. Dom co-founded Enerwise Global Technologies, an enterprise energy management solutions provider, where he served as co-CEO and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. He also founded grid2plug.com, an e-commerce company focused on developing premium power solutions for the power generation industry. Dr. Geraghty has provided consulting services to utilities, energy service providers, early-stage companies and venture capital funds in the energy sector. Earlier, he served in senior management positions with various other companies in the energy industry, including as President of Genesis Services Division at Itron (NASDAQ: ITRI), a tenure as General Partner of UTech, a venture capital fund focused on energy-related transactions, and a tenure at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), where he was responsible for corporate and R&D strategy and research and development program management. Dom serves on the Board of Tantalus, and has also served on the Boards of The NanoSteel Company and SCR-Tech (CoaLogix).
He holds a BE and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from University College in Dublin, Ireland, and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara, CA.
